A ju wa se o! Ibarapa Kan!!
A Brief Introduction
Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju!
One of the offsprings of Baba Pako, Dr. Amos Adepoju, has lived his entire life in service to humanity. Baba Amos Adepoju had his primary school education in Igboora before proceeding to Lagos for his secondary education at the Methodist Boys High School Lagos. He moved to the United States of America for his tertiary education; he is a scholar of international repute who rose to the position of the Rector of The Polytechnic Ibadan. During his tenure as Rector, Baba Amos Adepoju was instrumental in admitting numerous sons and daughters of Ibarapa land into the citadel of learning. No stone was left unturned in ensuring our brothers and sisters got admitted and graduated from the higher institution.
During the late Baba Bola Ige’s Regime as governor of the old Oyo state and his tenure as Rector, Dr. Adepoju was instrumental in creating four satellite campuses of the polytechnic Ibadan. The campuses were sited in Iree, Esa oke, Saki, and Eruwa, which have all metamorphosed into independent schools and thus enhanced the development of those areas and Ibarapa land. Baba Adepoju retired from the Oyo state civil service in 1991; just like his father, he ventured into politics. During his hay days, Baba Adepoju held several positions at the state and Federal levels, including the Pioneer National Financial Secretary of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), a member of Saint Andrew college of education, member constitution review panel, Resident electoral commissioner, Nasarawa state.

My Manifesto
ICT
I will sponsor our information technology trainees to get technical certifications while facilitating expert mentoring and I.C.T. training in programming, coding, software development, phone repairs, and hardware maintenance. The Provision of hardware, maintenance kits, take-off grants, and smart internet hubs will help the trainees get traction on their trade, thereby creating an environment for productivity and community development.
Empowerment
One of our plans is to support our people in diverse fields by training and motivating them in the areas of agricultural farming, photography, bead making, tie & dye, soap making, hair making, sewing and fashion designing, leather works (shoes & handbags), fish farming and animal husbandry and a host of others. Our empowerment will not follow the existing manner/norm currently done nationwide.
Security
The security of lives and property is vital to our overall ability to attract investors to our community. Investment in our security architecture and the growth and development of our people can only be achieved in an environment where peaceful co-existence thrives. The advent of the Amotekun corps in Oyo state has helped create a significant number of jobs and improved the confidence to invest among potential investors in our dear state. Therefore, we must never compromise on security.
Education
Recognition of brilliantly performing students, providing academic bursary payments, payments of external examination fees for a definite number of excelling students, and extending scholarships and grants will help ease some of the financial impediments to learning. Healthy competition among schools in the constituency and the state will improve our academic capabilities and ability to compete globally.
Agriculture
I will propose or support any law that will enhance the promotion of agriculture while easing the burden encountered by our farmers. My goal will be to use my resources and contacts at the Federal and State levels including agencies overseas, to facilitate all types of support for our farmers. The intervention will not be limited to purchasing tools for farming, financial aid, technological support, and the provision of fertilizers, seeds, and machinery needed to produce.
Social Capital
There will be a sincere attempt/drive to improve upon investments in existing college infrastructures while trying to get more sited in my constituency because of its positive impact on the well-being of our community. The upgrade of the community health and nursing centers, facilitating the engaging and deployment of qualified medical personnel to Ibarapa land, provision of communal tractors
