Empowerment Training/Capacity Building
Our youths are the most fantastic resource we have and are the hope of our generation and beyond. We will work vigorously to help with gainful employment while also empowering ourselves in different fields that can enhance self-employment and productivity. One of our plans is to support our people in diverse fields by training and motivating them in the areas of agricultural farming, photography, bead making, tie & dye, soap making, hair making, sewing and fashion designing, leather works (shoes & handbags), fish farming and animal husbandry and a host of others. Our empowerment will not follow the existing manner/norm currently done nationwide. Statistics have proven that when we give out things to empower people who are not adequately trained to use those items, the results may not be the intended. As a fix, we will facilitate interventions that will teach people and then empower the graduates of such programs with excellent products that can help them continue on that path to prosperity and self-independence. We will also go a step further by constantly engaging with these people to ensure they are optimizing their talents and understanding other places of need we may be able to help. Helping our youths and women in areas of training, and access to funds for tools of the trade, will bridge the start-up capital deficit/inadequacies and enhance our people’s standard of living by increasing our constituents’ per capita income.
